  Confirm that the medication listed on the pill organizer’s header label is the correct drug and that it’s placed in the proper compartment.
• Delegation of Container–Content Verification (DCCV Workflow)
  Verify that the medication printed on a label matches the product in the box or vial.
• Delegation of Quality Control (DQC)
  A procedure ensuring that the final result meets requirements, carried out by someone other than the preparer and verifier.
• Delegation of Header Verification (DHV)
  Ensure that the medications listed on the pill organizer’s header label match the patient’s record.
• Delegation of Computerization Verification (DCV)
  Confirm that the data entered into the patient’s digital record accurately reflects the paper prescription. No clinical evaluation permitted!

Two (2) sessions designed to train, coach, and follow up with participants.

Session 1: Training

A 2.5-hour theoretical training, led by a supervising pharmacist.

Session 2: Coaching

Practical coaching session to ensure delegates are properly trained.

Total duration: 6 hours, including:

• Theoretical review and practical coaching (1 hour)
• Theoretical evaluation (1 hour)
• Practical identification assessment, based on the type of delegation selected (1 hour)
• Practical verification assessment (1 hour per PTA)
  • Up to 3 PTAs assessed simultaneously for the practical component
